MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2O11! ☼ ☻ ☺ ☼ JANUARY, THE MONTH "Rotary Awareness."

ORISTANO December 24, 2010

Dear Friends and Dear Friends,

The year 2010 is now winding down and in a few days, will crown her successor in January: the year 2011.

January is the month dedicated to the RI "Rotary Awareness."
The word "awareness" means to carry out a scheme to "make it sensitive to others or had a particular problem, making them sharers inside.

Rotary, in particular, dedicating this month, intends to involve all Rotarians renewed their invitation to take on the importance of the mission given to us by Paul Harris and accepted by us at the time of our entry in the association. The objective is to make sensitive and Rotarians that those who do not belong to our association to the problems of Rotary and action.
E 'is really significant that in January the month dedicated to awareness of Rotary, it is certainly the most appropriate time for such an important issue: the opening of the second half of Rotary, which must be for everyone, but especially for Executives of the Club and the District, not a transfer down towards the end of the mandate, but the crucial moment of the collection, finalization of projects and initiatives in a renewed effort to materialize and the conclusion of the activities undertaken to benefit the community both local and international.
How can we honor this commitment, involvement and motivation of our work? Certainly in many ways. First
improving the public image of our association, which has been raised by Rotary International in the leading positions in the scale of values and strategic priorities that should characterize our commitment to the future.
public relations have been given the dignity one of the five areas on which the "Club Leadership Plan" recommends that we be active, to pursue efficiency goodwill. From here it follows the need to "raise awareness" of more and better, our Association. Public opinion must know that we must know through what we do, who we are and what we do. Just so everyone is aware of our existence and be willing to listen, and to grant us the right spaces on the pages of their media.
action to raise awareness to the outside, however, will be carried out effectively only if each of us will he acquired the right awareness and made aware of their identity a Rotarian, and feel the desire to be, himself, the first valid, convincing and persuasive ambassador for Rotary.

It 'just for ourselves that we must start to improve our service Rotarian.
It is therefore essential to know at the bottom of our association. Knowledge which means "to know what is really the Rotary," and above what is its main purpose, to know what and how many instruments we Rotarians can have, how many and which are the responsibilities imposed on those who agree to join. All this must always be clear and alive in us Rotarians. Mastering the rules is the best recipe for having, in each structure, that allows the harmonious development, day after day, the maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

The update must be for the Rotary, a need that is met each year with several meetings (Assembly, Congress and district workshops, as well as international Conventions and Meetings), able to keep it updated and informed.
I think each of us, agreeing to join the Rotary, he has done not only for the pleasure of walking into the prestigious organization, but there is hope so, also supported by many other valid reasons: enthusiasm, spirit body, pride, sense of belonging, availability and desire to be useful to others.
All these are the foundations and structures of our "Rotary", which enable us to live the Rotary with emotion and joy, in the conscious belief that only "together" you can achieve "big things" in the world, as was possible with the struggle for the eradication of Polio.
great things, dear friends, we can do in our own little world, our territory. This year, as you know, we have taken steps "new" that I hope will bring great fruit not only our club but to give a reputation and visibility than ever before. The completion of the surgery for indigent almost set and ready for operation in the structure of the Capuchin Fathers of Avenue S. Martino di Oristano, with the help of Father Franco, soon to be a beautiful reality.

The other initiative, which will distribute to the poor of the city about 150 Christmas packages will be completed just starting today. We have not neglected to raise funds to find a fair amount to be allocated to the project "Polio Plus". The initiative, carried out with the Order of Doctors and the Go.Far, allowed to acquire the RF over 1,000 (one thousand Euros), while sales of the packs of Vernaccia and nougat (the 500 packs have virtually been placed in full), will flow to the Foundation further 3,000 (three thousand) Euros. It 'possible that one may, in total, reach and exceed Five thousand Euro.

What about close friends? I am very happy for these projects and I think we all are. This way we operate has also increased our visibility considerably: the city has begun to see concrete work, saw our arms and our flag on display for the first time in the square in front of our gazebo, but above all he as professionals and executives not just to open the wallet, but has seen them roll up their sleeves and work in the first person to "help out" to those less fortunate than ourselves. I think this is, indeed, a result nothing short of revolutionary!
What do you think?
Before closing I express to you all best wishes for a peaceful and happy
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2011!

Thanks dear friends always appreciate your attention.

Mario

December, the month of "Rotary family."

Oristano

November 20, 2010 Dear friends,

December is the last month of the year and, given its features, is dedicated to the enhancement of the Rotary "FAMILY", understood in its broadest sense.

The "Rotary family" is one of five priority actions included in the 2007.08 from the International President Wilfred Wilkinson, in order to give impetus to the wider Rotary family called the family that is composed of members and their families (spouse, children, other relatives), the widows and widowers of Rotarians from Rotaract and Interact, Inner Wheel, by former participants in trade group study, young people and trade in RYLA, from alumni.
In particular, Mr Wilkinson, he wanted to give more space in the work of Rotary to family members and young people already involved in Rotary programs, offering them the opportunity to "serve" the same way as members.
Certainly the involvement of the family strengthens the bonds of friendship and cooperation ties become closer and more solid. Ask Rotarians greater involvement of families in their service initiatives is to give greater strength and impetus to the activities undertaken by the Club
I personally believe that the project of "Family of Rotary", cleverly set up by President Wilkinson, is particularly useful for materially enhance the meaning of Rotary Sharing, often remained inoperative both inside and outside of Rotary. The Rotary
achieve the purpose "of service" can only pass through that sharing that starts from the family of the member.
Let us not forget that in the complex of social, family is commonly recognized as a fundamental nucleus of society itself: it takes place, in sharing of the spouses, education, training and growth of the freedom of the children.
But today, in a highly globalized world, there is talk of "family crisis".
The philosopher Hermann said that wherever the family loses something of its importance, there is introduced a decay of the soul, which in practice means the impoverishment of society, because if the family forms the nucleus, it descends from the real value of the company!
Rotary is up to us not only to monitor and report on the ills that afflict our society, but also to try to remedy those soliciting and raising awareness can and should implement the concrete actions needed.
There are many young people that they carry a great potential for generosity, ability, courage, need for truth and love, which remains unapplied. These young people are searching for the tools to reintegrate into society, so sick, those values that are lost slowly and have created spaces that only they now are able to fill. It's up to us to help them do it!
We involve our family in the activities of the Club: why, when you have to do good, the members of family are the most precious heritage of Rotary.
further extend our commitment and our focus on our "big family" of Rotary.
In a world full of corrupt business circles there is a particular need for people who not only know but, above all, make and demonstrate "what" professional ethics and commitment and responsibility in social life. This behavior, this demonstration must be a daily commitment for us Rotarians.
U.S. President Eisenhower had the opportunity to say: "The main quality of leadership is the unquestioned integrity, without which there can be successful. "
In Rotary, we know that this is true and as Rotarians we say aloud the values we cherish and which permeate our lives.
We tend to excellence in everything we do! Spread these values, infected young people, the true backbone of tomorrow's society.
Right here is our commitment to Rotary's future: to be able to motivate and encourage enthusiasm, make sure that our behavior is not only appreciated but follow and imitate. Our enthusiasm must be so brave and strong enough to drag and motivate others by giving hope and confidence! Young people expect this from us!
E 'own the "motivation" the real force that moves our "Rotary be" the pride of belonging to an association that, through friendship, ethics, tolerance and respect, trying to build a better world .

All this, dear friends, and friends, do not ever forget, it will be much simpler and easier with the great help and the undeniable involvement of our families.

Let's talk about our important commitments in December, already known to you by the letter from our Secretary, who indicated below. In addition
most important event, the visit of the Governor, who is scheduled for December 1 we will be busy with the 17th annual celebration of Christmas greetings and 18, Saturday, hosted at our headquarters, the Mistral2, the District Seminar effect.
Our Club is strongly committed in the District this year: we started preparing and hosting the SIPE then, to follow, with the acceptance of a number of district offices by several of our members, up to that commitment, the organization Seminar on membership. This wide participation means good appreciation and, therefore, should make us all feel very proud!
Congratulations to all the new "team" of next year were elected yesterday members of the Board of Directors of the year 2011/12 that will accompany our Incoming President Maura Falcons, and the Chairman of the next year 2012/13. E 'was elected to chair the club, after Maura, with a large number of preferences, Andrea Riccio, young and old club, but I am sure, serious and capable that will cope well!
Greetings dear Andrew, we are all with you!
Thank you, dear friends of the attention that I always confidential.

ROTARY IN SARDINIA: NEW CLUB ... GROW UP!

Oristano November 6 2010.

Dear friends, yesterday
November 5 we wanted to celebrate the delivery of the new "charter" to the baby club, the 28th of Sardinia, seat-Marghine, Central Sardinia.
Rotary grows in Sardinia and new club ... are created to monitor the area more and play more vigorously our Rotarian Action of "SERVICE". To sum up this day I am a reflection of obligation:

ROTARY OF THE FUTURE WILL BE 'MORE AND MORE' "ROSE".

what comes from my experience reflection? So that's what.

Before the Governor Roberto Scambelluri deliver the new "charter" last born of the Sardinian club, President Joseph Meloni has proudly stated that his club has a special and significant first: to have, in the District, the majority of members are female.
The news is such that only a few years ago would turn up their noses at quite a few long-time Rotarian. The club, in fact, born with a staff of 24 members including 15 women, compared with 9 men, with a percentage to 60% for women. It is not over. The Board has as many as 9 new proposals being considered for admission including 5 women and 4 men.
What about close friends? These are figures that leave many clubs a bit '... stucco! What appears to
prehistoric, that distant 1977, when the club of Duarte, California, admitted as members and for some women this was expelled from the Rotary International!
The original rule of Rotary, in fact, was until the 70s of last century as follows: "... can become a member of the Rotary Club for men only, meaning male human beings ...."
The spark started from Duarte quickly became a huge fire after the decision of the Supreme Court changed the rule so Rotarian: "... can become members of a Rotary Club in human beings of both sexes, even female ... " .

Times change!
our founder Paul Harris wrote in his memoirs "My Road to Rotary" that the world "changed" all the time and that the Rotary had necessarily "change" with it if he wanted to maintain the strength of his ideas and its purposes. You could add even more.
Rotary believe that it can not and should not wait for others to "do" change. Rotary from its important and qualified observatory is able to monitor the needs of most others, his many professionals and entrepreneurs, all number one in their field, can and should be the true "creative dynamo" melting pot able to put together the appropriate proposals for improvement, in every field, in every need of social life.
task of our association is that of "giving voice" to those who do not have the strength or the ability to do so to move the indifference to solicit public opinion, raising awareness and addressing those who are called in the territory and the government in the world Peoples. This
our job as Rotarians is not, as many believe, that of simple charity but that, instead of finding real solutions to eradicate hunger, poverty, lack of education, water and health. As we did for the eradication of polio and of which we are always proud to go. In all
that women can be, really, our best weapon, that weapon which for too long we have left out!
I have carefully read the latest issue of Rotary, the No. 10 of October, just arrived. The interesting article by Alfonso Forte "Women in Rotary, I will bring a new light" allowed me to update me on a topic of extreme importance to me: the presence of women in our association. The article reported the development and growth of this important presence with a number of statistical data. Here are some very attractive rates.
In June 2001, women were only present in 51.8% of the club, while in 2010 79.9% of the club had admitted women. If the club in June 2001 there was only 8, 7% of women, in 2010 this percentage increased to 16.3%, nearly doubling its presence. Analyzing the situation in the various Italian clubs I have seen that our district compared to others, we defended well. If more women in absolute terms may be found in District 2110 (535 women out of a total of 4,863, with a share of 11%), in percentage terms, the highest in our district is that of a total of 4,131 members has 507 members, 12.2%. Even in the levels of responsibility
our District was the pilot. In Italy the first woman president was elected to the club of Cerveteri-Ladispoli year 1993/94.
Worldwide, however, the first female District Governor began the year 1995/96: 8 of them were elected, all in the USA.
In Italy the first governor was elected in District 2040 in the year 2003/04: Pharaoh was the Rotary Alessandra Lanza.
In our district is ripe time: in the next Rotary year we will have the first Governor: Daniela Tranquilli Franceschetti, who are already trained to office. I am personally convinced that Daniel, which I do from now on my best wishes, will, with his undoubted ability, further prestige to our district.
My deep conviction, since the days when I fought to bring the first women in my club Oristano, has always been that "women could make a positive contribution to the Rotary, different from ours."
fully agree with the statement made by Alfonso Forte, who made the article that appeared in "Rotary" and that I mentioned above. Forte writes: "... The woman with her natural vocation to do good, with her innate maternal instinct, with its willingness to provide care to those suffering, should - in the years to come - take a greater share of access, ie one that competes in the files of the Association, for the realization of the best tasks are the foundation of the same inalienable Rotary .... "

This, dear friends, the road taken by the new club seat-Marghine Centre Sardinia "is certainly the right one!
But we come to the wonderful news yesterday. In the splendid Hotel
agritourism "On Bajon" Abbasanta, wanted to celebrate the delivery of the new Charter, by the Governor Scambelluri the baby club seat-Marghine Central Sardinia, most of the Presidents of the Sardinian club: 25 the 28 clubs present. Our club was there with the President, Dr Antonio Sulis, accompanied his wife Julia. Guests of honor the PDG Pirisi Filippo and Roberto Ivaldi. There were also Assistant Instructors Sardinia Pier Giorgio and Salvatore Poddighe Fozzi, Assistant to the club than me. Several authorities invited: the Prefects of Oristano and Nuoro Lisi and Russian, with their kind sir, Quaestors of Oristano and Nuoro Pinto and D'Angelo with the gentlemen, the President of the Province of Oristano De Seenen with the nice lady, Mayors of the Territory, and numerous other civil and military authorities. After
honor the flags with the hymns of ritual began the report of the President pointed out that Meloni, after thanking all those present of the presence, the importance of occurrence and the fact that the center of Sardinia, with the birth of the new club, could now count on a new "observatory" Rotary, able to make its contribution in an area that does not go through what were very happy both economical and occupational . He said, moreover, the firm will of all the new company to take care of the area, noting that the strong presence of women in the club would be extremely more helpful. He proudly claimed to be proud that his club is in the District, the one with the highest percentage of female members, 60% of the shareholder.
The Governor had words of praise and encouragement, pointing out the role of the Rotary in the Company and in the Territory, where plays an irreplaceable source of stimulation and connection with public institutions.
After the warm friendly exchange pennants with the Presidents and the Authority has highlighted the friendliness and willingness of all to help "the new club to build its way, leading the way together.
Greetings, dear friends and friends: welcome! With you, strengthening our presence Rotary, better address the problems of our island. Rotary good to you all!

Mario Wii Questionmarks

November, the month the Rotary Foundation.

Oristano

October 27, 2010 Dear friends in Rotary,

NOVEMBER AND 'THE MONTH DEDICATED TO THE ROTARY FOUNDATION.

The Arch. C. Klumph, Rotary's sixth president in 1917 establishing an endowment fund for humanitarian and educational initiatives. It was only the beginning of a great adventure.
congress in Minneapolis, 1928, the endowment fund became something more concrete, an internal structure independent of who took the name "Rotary".

After the death of Paul Harris, which took place in Chicago in 1947, the large Donations to the Foundation in his honor did the real arm of Rotary in the World. The Foundation, with such availability, launched a special program called "Ambassadorial Scholarship, and began to call the participating students" Paul Harris Fellow.
Later in 1957 the directors of the Foundation created the award of "Paul Harris Fellow, Foundation for donors who pay $ 1,000. It was a real success.

Today awarded the PHF are over one million.
Over the years the Foundation has implemented important initiatives is that local application of thick world. The most famous and important one dedicated to the eradication of Polio from the world.
A structure so important to stay updated with the times, could not stand still, static. That is why major changes now taking place: the transformation under way is the right step to get better in the future.
This transformation plan, called its "Future Vision Plan," fundamentally change the way to operate and manage the future of the Foundation.
We will have a foundation other than the one yesterday, from today, which is not yet that of tomorrow. A Rotary Foundation which will provide the most innovative and ambitious media to carry out humanitarian work in their community and abroad.
Its goals, however, not changed, as it will not change, I am sure our support. We are ready for the future, without denying anything of the past! Through the Foundation we have collected hundreds of thousands of dollars for a world without polio, we have spent countless hours to mobilize volunteers to immunize children and, after many sacrifices, we have almost achieved our objective, we have come a few steps from the goal. We must persevere and be even tougher for the future and the new "Future Vision Plan" will take us in new challenges.
A those who say that the Foundation calls too, that our commitment is fairly costly, I would point out some significant information.
Worldwide one billion people suffer from malnutrition and more than 20,000 human beings die every day from hunger. Over one billion people lack access to safe drinking water and every five minutes a child goes blind. Approximately 880 million adults can not read or write and 42 million people are infected with HIV-AIDS. Millions suffer from tuberculosis and other infectious diseases. And if that were not enough, 20 wars in which more than 300,000 child soldiers fighting, forcing 35 million people to flee and seek refuge in other countries. These are the numbers more meaningful that should prompt us to reflect Rotarians, we can not, we must not flinch, we can not afford to lose this challenge if we really believe in that "service" for which we have entered the Rotary. Otherwise we are just a facade Rotarians!
But I believe that we often lack the conviction of the utility of the Foundation: a thing that we often forget is that we do not give ourselves "to" but we give Foundation "through" the Foundation !
The RF is, dear friends, is the tool that allows all of us, with a little sacrifice, to do great things, which alone can never achieve! We
believe, all together, because the message that Rotary Paul Harris has left us is that of service to be available to give to others without expecting a return.
"Serve" means to deprive us of selfishness in Rotary, reach out to others means to promote the culture of the gift, capable of merging the belief of homo economicus with that homo donator, allowing, thus, to satisfy the strong need for greater social development, greater equality among all peoples of the world. This
our behavior open to solidarity, aimed at the most disadvantaged, is, after the friendship, the true purpose Rotary. Within the perspective of wanting to meet new challenges of the third millennium we find the new strategy of our Association which, through the operating arm of the RF, will face new challenges to the problems of globalization.
This is our next project of life, practical application of the "philosophy of Rotary," which will, as we know, the following priorities:
- emergency water
- health,
- hunger,
- literacy.
The Foundation is preparing for an unprecedented change, to exploit new opportunities and bring the Rotary to achieve new results towards goals unattained before.
A Foundation for the Future ", even more efficient and ready to respond to major challenges, thanks to the enthusiastic support and participation of all Rotarians.
The Foundation must not forget also pressing ahead with a great goal that can easily be translated with the motto: "Doing good in the world."
try, dear friends and girlfriends to do the most good possible, wherever we are and the means at our disposal. This is our commitment!
Thank you!
Mario

Are Beauty Contests Harmful?

our loving farewell to Antonio Arcese, GOVERNOR OF OUR PAST-DISTRICTS OF THE YEAR 2003/2004.

Oristano October 22, 2010

Dear friends, mourning the recent
throughout our District to the untimely death of our Past Governor Antonio Arcese sad all of us. It 'was a true Rotarian we all have a lot. I, in particular, that I was his assistant of the Governor, in the year 2003.2004, I think I have against a particular esteem. Here, for better understanding of all, a brief resume his memorial.

Mario
******************************

Antonio a few days left us. We are still in disbelief that it is no longer among us: He that Rotary had made his second home, his great love. We are confident, however, that none of us easily forget.
Antonio Arcese, was born July 31, 1935 in Frosinone, where he lived. Ione married to Gianna Bossi had two children: Fabian, a lawyer in Frosinone and Giampiero, fashion designer.
always attracted by the career in journalism from the university already had become a correspondent for "Time", the Corriere della Sera, of the 'Agency Italy. In the newspaper "Il Tempo" collaborated for ten years and yet now he was regularly enrolled in the Order of Journalists, public register. After initial news
parentheses worked in the textile industry, where he was a manager for about twenty-eight years at the American textile industry Klopman International SpA, first as Managing Director of Human Resources and Foreign Relations and later as Director-General Industrial. For three four-year he served as Vice President of the Industrial Union of Frosinone, and President of Advanced Tertiary Section, also in Frosinone.
During his career, also held other important and prestigious posts, which allowed him to expand in Ireland Tunisia, North Carolina, etc.. Beyond the commitments in the Company held a social activity in its territory, President of the Cultural Association "National Award Ciociaria" and co-founder and board member of the Circle "Civis", as well as Vice President of Sports Club "Park Club.

Antonio became part of the Rotary Club in Fiuggi in 1991. As part of your Club has always been involved in many service jobs: Director, Vice President and then President in the year 1995-96. Subsequently it was still vice president for two more times and President of various committees (Vocational Service, Club Service, International Action). Several times a member of district committees, in the year 2001.2002 held the functions of Assistant Governor Antonio Lico. With this curriculum respectable Antonio Arcese was elected Governor for the Rotary year 2003-2004. then continued to give his experience to the District: District Magistrate in the years 2005.06, 2006.07 and 2007.08. Over the years 2009.10 and this year was President of the district. This bright
his employment history and the Rotary! Thanks Antonio of your commitment and your dedication to Rotary, to many of us have learned so much.

Personally I owe him a lot. When he prepared the team of his year of governorship, the year 2003.04, asking nothing, called me and told me he wanted to entrust the job of Assistant to the Governor. I do not know what prompted him to do so and, while concerned about the delicacy of the task, I agreed.
was an important year: it was the first time the Rotary International put at the top of its organization an African president, Jonathan B. Majiyagbe, Nigeria. His motto was "LEND A HAND" Lend a Hand, referring to those who need us all Rotarians. Antonio's commitment was formidable. I knew, so, a remarkable man: careful, alert, able to arouse enthusiasm and love for the service. His incentive to improve, to give the best of us, was summarized as follows: The Rotarian must be good to train, inform Is involved.
using new strategies for training could create a strong and capable team, building on our Rotary District a more up to date. He and I grew a lot with this experience meant that I was confirmed in his role as assistant during the two subsequent years. Thank you dear Antonio
of your wonderful friendship! His wife Gianna who accompanied and supported also in the path Rotary I mean: Gianna, do not cry! You were a wonderful companion to a great man who will not be forgotten. He will live forever not only yours but in the hearts of us all, always remember the lessons on.

Oristano October 3, 2010
Dear Friends,

we move quickly, towards the end of the first half of this' Rotary year.
October is the month dedicated to the Rotary International 'Vocational Service, one of the four, even five-way action of goodwill.

As you know the resolution of the 2010 Council the "Four Avenues of Rotary original" have become five .

At four classic original "Streets" listed under Club: Club Service , Vocational Service, Community Service and Action International has been added a survey of youth Action for New Generations.

The month of October is the month dedicated to Action and then Professional.

What does the Rotary with this action? What is essentially asking Rotary to Rotarians, Rotarians at all?

We Rotarians are mostly professionals in professional action is, in practice, the way we run our daily occupation. RI encourages Rotarians to serve others through their professions by applying high ethical standards. Our commitment is to share our skills and experience and in so doing set an example, a source of inspiration for others. Our behavior in the profession or in daily life should always be based on a rigorous ethically and professionally. In our commitment to Rotary, this behavior is genuine and not selfish, it is encrypted, making it a true "Action", which can be expressed not only in projects aimed at local and national communities, but also take an international dimension, through the projects WCS (World Community Service) program and the Volunteers of RI "and" Bags of Peace. "
Every year in October to celebrate the Rotary Vocational Service Month, during which they are highlighted projects sponsored by the RI in this area and is offered to clubs and districts, the ability to initiate new programs for "service" .
Paul Harris said: "Of the one hundred and one ways in which men can make themselves useful to society without a doubt the most accessible and often the most effective fall within the scope of their employment."
To standardize the behavior of Rotarians on their workplace in 1989, the Council on Legislation enacted the so-called "Declaration of Rotarians in Businesses and Professionals" in the belief that it represents for us an important opportunity for reflection. Here is the text, always very timely .

"As a Rotarian engaged in a business or profession, are required to:

1) considering my vocation to be another opportunity to serve;

2) observe, in the form as the substance of the code of ethics of my profession, the laws of my country and the moral standards of my community;

3) do everything possible to practice my profession in a more dignified and promote respect for the most high ethical standards in the profession I had chosen;

4) be loyal to my employer, my employees, associates, competitors, customers and the general public, as well as all those with whom I have an employment or profession;

5) recognize the dignity and look with the respect due to all occupations which are useful to society;

6) make available my vocational talents: to provide employment opportunities to young people, help others in solving particular problems, and improve the quality of life in my Community

7) to adhere to principles of honesty in my advertising, and whenever I have to represent my business in public my business or profession;

8) not seek or grant to a fellow Rotarian a privilege or benefits that are not normally granted to other people as part of a business or professional relationship. "

With the recognition of "New Generations" Fifth Avenue of the Rotary, take even more depth the contents of Article 6) of the Declaration : "... to provide the professional skills to provide opportunities employment for young people .... "

Action Professional fact, should not be regarded as exclusive appreciation of professionalism established, but as a fundamental aid for the development of skills of young people and especially for those young people who belong to weaker sections of the population.
spreading awareness of the professions within the Club events but we also face outwards to facilitate the comparison of views, exchange of information and the approach to the world of work and professions, especially young people. Our task is to disseminate concepts and values Rotarians outside, in business and professions, and, above all, to make available to the territory our young people and their knowledge and skills. There are many initiatives that can be implemented.

Three guidelines on which to operate:
a) orientation to work, through moments of reflection for the young students of the area, so that they can choose the university path with greater awareness and method;
b) short seminars for young graduates and undergraduates, not necessarily just in schools, in order to enrich their professional knowledge with the acquisition of soft skills in all professions;
c) mini-workshops taught by professionals led Rotarians, for young people so that they can understand more numerous the different facets and aspects of the various professions.

Dear friends, this is in summary what we can and must do to avoid the tragedy of the young, discouraged by the inertia of our world, only able to feed them without giving them those longing for wings to fly: not forget that with our help they can become eagle, capable of flying high!

reflect, let's make sure there are no simple feeding chickens in a coop of our house, how big and rich.
Let us develop in their wings to fly.

meditation ... really!
