Oristano March 28, 2010
Dear friends and girlfriends,
the month of March of the current Rotary year, the month that is seen worldwide, mostly by Rotary International to literacy, I think it is closed with a large good result.
The considerable number of new members admitted to the club, combined with moments of true friendship Rotarian, past not only to talk about Rotary, as is right and proper that is, but interspersed with interesting lectures, I think he made a difference, compared to previous months.
success, as we all know that is a mix of so many ingredients that often is not easy to find. If the delicious taste of good food is not only the result of the goodness of the main product, but instead, a skillful cooking time and ingredients, often secret, that a good cook is able to blend the pleasure of being together , to consume the right company, large and small moments of its existence, is the result of wise alchemy of different ingredients: friendship, cultural exchange, great attention to the world around us, to catch the weak points that need our Rotary service .
Renewal and exchange of information and culture, therefore, the important ingredients of our being Rotarians, directed and designed to our "Service Above Self."
March was certainly a month for us to frame: five new partners and a very interesting lecture on the evils of a century, Alzheimer's, held by a member of our recent acquisition, the neurologist Dr. Egidio Salaris.
Before the conference the official entry in the Club's new member, Dr. Paul Pradelli, which took me as godfather.
Paul, one of the youngest members of the club, just 33 years and is the director of the Mistral 2, the seat of our club. Person of great management skills and very communicative, it can certainly make a strong contribution to the club. Congratulations dear Paul, welcome to our Club!
Here are some pictures for you all the beautiful evening.
soon, with the timetable for future engagements!
